Description Yoga helps to bring the body back into alignment, it tones, builds strength and increases flexibility. It detoxifies and invigorates the various bodily systems. On a more subtle level it brings a sense of calm, develops focus and concentration, and allows us to unite the body and mind.
At Balance Yoga our classes are Ashtanga Vinyasa. Vinyasa yoga teachers sequence their classes to smoothly transition from pose to pose, with the intention of linking breath to movement. The intensity of the practice is similar to Ashtanga, but no two vinyasa yoga classes are the same.
Our Wednesday class is suitable for absolute beginners. Saturday class is for those with a little more experience.
